Lake has over 10 years of experience in marketing, public relations, design, and retail. Graduating from Campbell University in 2004 she began her career in recruitment and public relations for the NC Community College System. In 2010 she launched Burning Lake Design Company which focused on photography and design. In 2012 she opened Burning Lake Boutique, featuring ladies apparel and accessories. After the birth of her second child she decided to transition her storefront to online and began to focus on design, marketing, and branding for small businesses and retailers. Lake realized that as a business owner you play many roles. Some more profitable than others. Delegation is essential to "getting it all done". In 2015 the concept of Prim Design was born. An offering of beautiful, functional design at an affordable price.
